This policy explains what information Kitchen Factory Newark (“we”, “us”) collects through www.kitchenfactoryusa.net, how we use it and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form or quote request form, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, town and details about your project. We also receive the information you share when you call, text, message us on WhatsApp or email us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers collect standard technical information, such as the pages you view, the links you click, the website that referred you, your approximate location (city level), your browser and device type, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected with cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- reply to your questions and quote requests and plan your showroom visit or design consultation;
- prepare estimates and arrange curbside delivery of your order;
- understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it (for example, which pages are most useful and which contact options people use);
- keep our website secure and prevent spam and abuse;
- meet our legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure how our website is used. These services set cookies and collect the technical information described above. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings.
Our website is protected by Cloudflare, which may set cookies needed for security and performance. Our reviews section displays Google reviews through Trustindex.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies. Some parts of the website may not work as intended if you do.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for targeted advertising.
We share information only:
- with service providers that help us run our website and business, such as our website host, Cloudflare, Google (analytics and email) and Trustindex, and only so they can provide their services to us;
- when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
Links to other websites
Our website links to other services, including WhatsApp, Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Synchrony (for financing applications). When you leave our website, the other site’s privacy policy applies. Information you give in a Synchrony financing application goes to Synchrony, not to us.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and quote information for as long as we need it to respond to you, serve you as a customer and keep our business records, and then delete it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, you may have the right to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information and access it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- get a copy of your information;
- opt out of the sale of your information, targeted advertising and certain profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
To make a request, email [email protected] or call 973-732-4850. We will respond within the time required by law. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will explain the outcome of your appeal.
